Hogback Honey Bees.

The honeybees of The Hogback Honey Company at the hives. These installed hives are at Jared’s Garden Center in Littleton, Colorado. The bees produce honey from local Front Range wildflowers, sweet clover, Linden trees, and a verity of blooms from Jared’s garden flowers. The bees also pollinate the local community garden provided for free to the surrounding residents. Our honeybees are healthy, organic, stress free, and show no signs of any parasites or diseases. Hogback Honeybees have no signs of Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD.)

American White Pelicans forage for food at Windy Gap Colorado. In the Walden, Colorado area these Pelicans will breed with other colonial nesters on Islands in lakes. They are monitored by the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory. Unlike Brown Pelicans of coastal reagions who hunt alone, American White’s cooperate in groups.
